If you're tired of re-explaining your preferences to every AI tool, this gives you one SQLite-backed memory store that works across Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, and any MCP-capable assistant. It exposes search, save, update, and delete operations on structured memories tagged by topic and scope. The quickstart walks you through `npx @psraghuveer/memento init`, which creates the database, optionally seeds it with curated packs like engineering-simplicity or twelve-factor-app, and prints the MCP config snippets for each client. You can author and share your own packs as YAML. The persona snippet in your custom instructions teaches the assistant when to persist decisions versus ephemeral facts.
