Built by a VMware engineer but not an official product, this server gives you read-only access to vCenter or standalone ESXi through eight MCP tools wrapping pyVmomi. You can list VMs with folder paths, query datastores and clusters, pull active alarms and events, check hardware sensors, and run a daemon that scans multiple targets on a schedule and ships findings to webhooks. The safety angle is architectural: destructive operations like power control, snapshot management, and VM lifecycle commands don't exist in the codebase at all, not just blocked by prompts. If you need write operations, the author maintains a separate vmware-aiops repo. Works with vSphere 6.5 through VCF 9.1.
