This is a gotchas guide disguised as a skill, and that's exactly what you need for Playwright. The basics are well documented, but the stuff that actually breaks in production (storageState ignoring sessionStorage, page.route missing iframe requests, hydration timing, shard versus worker confusion) isn't obvious until you've burned a few hours. It assumes Claude already knows the Playwright API and focuses on auth setup patterns, flaky test diagnosis, and CI optimization. The first-time config questionnaire is smart so you're not re-explaining your stack every session. If you're past "write my first test" and into "why does this work locally but fail in CI," this will save you time.
