This is the orchestrator for managing electronics BOMs across the entire sourcing and fabrication pipeline. It stores all part data as KiCad symbol properties, coordinates searches across DigiKey, Mouser, LCSC, element14, and fab houses like JLCPCB, then writes validated part numbers back into your schematic. The workflow is thorough: analyze what's missing, sync datasheets from distributors, search and validate parts against footprints and specs, update schematics while handling KiCad's lock files, then export per-distributor order files with quantity calculations. It's designed for the reality that distributor part numbers go stale and projects use inconsistent field naming conventions. The documentation is dense but covers the edge cases you'll actually hit.
