Needs a personal access token with repo scope, which you can set via environment variables or config file. The usual 5,000 requests per hour authenticated limit applies. Honestly most useful when you're already deep in a conversation about code and want to quickly check pipeline status or file an issue without context switching to your browser. Setup takes two minutes if you've generated GitHub tokens before.
