Searches and imports electronic components for Zener PCB projects across three tiers: registry modules (reusable subcircuits), registry components (packaged parts), and web databases (LCSC, CSE). The workflow enforces a hard stop before manual component creation, requiring explicit confirmation if automated search fails. What's notable here is the opinionated search priority that pushes you toward pre-built modules first, which makes sense for hardware where someone else solving the application circuitry problem is usually better than rolling your own. Works with MPNs or general queries, outputs JSON, and integrates with the broader pcb CLI toolchain from Diode.
