Speech Recognition

dpearson2699/swift-ios-skills
2.9k installs981 stars
Summary

This covers both the legacy SFSpeechRecognizer API and the new iOS 26+ SpeechAnalyzer actor-based approach for converting speech to text. You'll find working examples for live microphone transcription with AVAudioEngine, file-based recognition, and the complete authorization flow for both speech and microphone permissions. The SpeechAnalyzer section is especially useful if you're targeting modern iOS since it shows the async/await pattern with AsyncSequence results and the asset download system for on-device recognition. The side-by-side comparison table makes it clear when to use which API. Good reference for avoiding the common AVAudioEngine tap setup mistakes and understanding the difference between server and on-device recognition modes.

tempo

grafana/skills

Stand up Grafana Tempo as a cost-efficient distributed-tracing backend that only needs object storage, and write TraceQL queries against it. Covers OTLP + Jaeger + Zipkin ingestion, the distributor → live-store → block-builder → object-storage write path, metrics-generator for RED spanmetrics + service graphs, Helm `tempo-distributed` deployment, multi-tenant `X-Scope-OrgID`, TraceQL span / resource / event scopes, structural operators (`>>`, `<<`), `rate()` + `quantile_over_time` metrics, and the traces-to-logs / metrics / profiles datasource links. Use when deploying Tempo, writing a TraceQL query for slow / errored requests, debugging "no traces showing in Explore", sizing queriers / compactors, configuring S3 / GCS / Azure block storage, or wiring trace ↔ log ↔ profile correlation — even when the user says "tracing backend", "find slow requests", "show me the service graph", "store traces in S3", "Jaeger compatible store", or "what called this span" without naming Tempo.

trailmark

trailofbits/skills

Builds and queries multi-language source and binary code graphs for security analysis. Includes pre-analysis passes for blast radius, taint propagation, privilege boundaries, entry point enumeration, proxy/unresolved-call tracking, type/reference queries, structural traversal, graph diffs, audit augmentation, declared cross-language/FFI/external links via `.trailmark/links.toml`, and SQL schema graphs. Use when analyzing call paths, mapping attack surface, finding complexity hotspots, enumerating entry points, tracing taint propagation, measuring blast radius, importing SARIF/weAudit/binary findings, linking source graphs across language or RPC boundaries, or building a code graph for audit prioritization. Feature-gate version-specific Trailmark APIs before using them; prefer `trailmark.parse.detect_languages()` or `--language auto` when the target language is unknown or polyglot.
