Gws Vault

If you're dealing with legal holds or compliance searches in Google Workspace, this handles the Vault API operations you'd otherwise script yourself. You can create and manage matters, set up holds on user data, kick off exports, and track those long-running operations that Vault is known for. It also supports saved queries for repetitive eDiscovery searches, which is handy if you're running similar investigations across different matters. Part of the broader gws CLI toolkit, so you'll need the shared authentication setup. The permission controls for matter collaborators are built in, which matters when you're coordinating with legal teams who need access but shouldn't see everything.
