This automates the tedious work of keeping citation counts fresh in your documentation's best_practices.md file, specifically for the RAG and Agent research sections that filter papers with 100+ citations. It pulls updated counts from Semantic Scholar using the update_citation_counts.py script, which you'd run after fetch_popular_papers.py sets your baseline. The workflow is straightforward: fetch, update, review. One thing to note is that you'll still need to manually verify if papers should move around in the rankings or if Semantic Scholar's data looks off. It's narrowly scoped, so don't expect it to add new papers or reorganize your sections, just keep the numbers current.
