This is a structured reading coach that treats book study like a skill to be mastered, not just consumed. It maintains a local wiki of your reading progress with concept maps, mastery tracking, and spaced repetition reviews. The workflow is deliberate: pre-reading questions before each chapter, Socratic testing after you ingest content (no credit for just saying "got it"), and required practice phases where you apply concepts to real scenarios. It scores understanding on a four-point rubric covering accuracy, explanation, application, and discrimination. The interleaving during tests is smart, mixing old concepts with new ones without announcing it. If you tend to skim books and forget everything two weeks later, this forces actual retention. The wiki structure is Obsidian-compatible if you want to browse your knowledge base later.
