Memex

Gives your AI agent persistent memory across sessions using a Zettelkasten approach with bidirectional wikilinks. Exposes 10 MCP tools for writing atomic knowledge cards, recalling relevant context before tasks, and browsing a link graph. Cards live as markdown in ~/.memex/cards/, so you can edit them directly or sync via git. Works zero-config in Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, and VS Code. The recall tool fires before sessions to surface what the agent learned last time, while retro saves insights after tasks wrap. Optional agentic memory mode walks agents through observe, draft, enrich metadata, retrieve candidates, then decide whether to create or update cards. Built for agents that should remember project patterns, not relearn them every conversation.
