NOAA Recon MCP Server

Plugs Claude into NOAA's Hurricane Research Division reconnaissance data streams. You get tools to fetch HDOB flight level observations (wind, temperature, pressure from aircraft flying through storms), Vortex Data Messages with center fix positions, SFMR surface wind measurements, and ATCF fix bulletins. Query by storm ID, basin, season, or date range to pull the raw observations that feed real time storm analysis. Useful when you're tracking active hurricanes and need the actual reconnaissance measurements, not just the derived advisories. Part of a larger ocean data monorepo but published standalone, no API keys required since it hits public NOAA endpoints.
