You get read-only tools for product search with price filters and sorting, category rankings, the full Rakuten Books catalog, and Rakuten Travel hotel availability lookups. Ships with eight ready-made prompts for common queries like budget hotel searches or finding bestsellers by genre. Requires a UUID application ID and access key from Rakuten's 2026 API platform; old numeric app IDs won't work. Rate limit is roughly one query per second per app. Useful when you need real Japanese product data, hotel availability, or ISBN lookups baked into an agent workflow.
