This connects Claude to reddit-insights.com's semantic search API to find what people are actually saying on Reddit right now. Unlike keyword search, it understands intent and can filter by engagement metrics. Works best for product comparisons ("Notion vs Obsidian"), pain point discovery, and side hustle research where relevance scores hit 0.70+. Weaker on abstract concepts or non-English queries. Three modes: quick (top 5 results), standard (synthesized themes), and deep (full competitive intelligence). The honest tradeoff is 12-25 second response times, but you're getting live data across millions of posts instead of manually browsing subreddits for two hours. Free tier available, requires API key from reddit-insights.com.
