This is the contributor's handbook for the Butterbase monorepo, which spans CLI tools, SDKs, MCP servers, and API services. You'll want this when adding new MCP tools (it walks through the four-step registration process), writing database migrations with their sequential numbering system, or understanding how the 28+ tools are organized into standalone operations versus umbrella "manage_*" actions. The architecture section alone is worth having open: it maps out nine packages and services, from the Fastify control API on port 4000 to the Deno serverless runtime. Solid reference material if you're actually touching this codebase, less useful if you just want to use Butterbase.
