Perplexity

This gives Claude web search capabilities through Perplexity AI. You get two main tools: Search for finding URLs and resources, and Ask for conversational answers synthesized from the web. The skill is opinionated about when to use what. It defaults to limiting results to avoid context bloat (3 results instead of 10), pushes you toward Context7 for library docs, and warns against using the research tool directly in favor of a researcher agent. The real value is having current information for generic queries without leaving your workflow, but you need to follow the tool selection chain or you'll waste tokens searching when you should be querying docs.
