Api Gateway

Handles AWS API Gateway setup and management for both REST and HTTP APIs. You'll reach for this when spinning up new APIs, wiring Lambda integrations, configuring JWT or custom authorizers, setting up CORS, or debugging those inevitable 403 and 502 errors. The source material covers the practical stuff well: HTTP APIs for simple use cases (cheaper, faster), REST APIs when you need request transformation or caching, complete CLI commands for both apigateway and apigatewayv2, and proper Lambda response formats. Honestly most useful for the integration patterns and troubleshooting section since that's where everyone gets stuck. Includes SAM templates if you're doing infrastructure as code.
