Seedance

This is a Node.js based skill for generating AI videos through Volcengine's Seedance models. It handles text-to-video, image-to-video with local or remote images, and audio-synced generation. The implementation is async with polling, so you submit a task, wait for it to process, then download the MP4. Free tier gives you 2 million tokens to experiment with, though it's unclear how many videos that translates to. Videos only stick around for 24 hours, so download immediately. The 1.5 pro model supports audio generation and handles 4-12 second clips at up to 1080p. Rate limits are reasonable at 600 requests per minute for pro models. Worth noting that Seedance 2.0 launches February 24, 2026.
