Summary
A bidirectional bridge between Figma Variables and your DTCG token files. Maps your three-tier token hierarchy (Primitives, Semantic, Component) to Figma collections and turns themes like dark mode into Figma Modes. You pick one authoritative direction: either push tokens to Figma or pull Variables back into code, never hand-edit both. If you have the Figma MCP server running, it uses those tools directly to read frames, sync variables, or wire up Code Connect. The parity checks are useful: it flags when Figma variants don't cover all your component states or sizes. Good for teams that want design tokens as the single source of truth but still need designers working natively in Figma without constant export/import friction.
