This browser extension is still in development, but once it ships it'll detect Brightcove video players on any page and let you download the underlying MP4 without digging through network requests or stitching together stream segments yourself. Brightcove powers a lot of news sites, university portals, and corporate training pages, and they hide the actual video URL behind adaptive streaming configs and token-gated manifests. The extension will handle quality selection when multiple renditions are available and save directly to your downloads folder. Worth noting it won't work on DRM-protected content, and you'll need to join the waitlist since there's no release date yet.
