If you're writing formal documents, essays, or business communications in English, Japanese, or Traditional Chinese, this skill gives you the rhetorical patterns and conventions for each language. English gets its deductive structure with upfront thesis statements, Japanese follows the ki-shou-ten-ketsu inductive pattern with implicit conclusions, and Traditional Chinese uses classical balance with chengyu and parallel structures.
