Lets you remote control tmux sessions by sending keystrokes and scraping pane output, which is exactly what you need when managing multiple Claude Code workers or any interactive CLI tool running in tmux. Instead of manually switching between panes, you can programmatically check if a session is waiting for input, send confirmations to prompts, or grab the last 20 lines of output to see what's happening. The docs are thorough about when not to use it, which is refreshing: skip it for one-off commands or anything not already running in tmux. Most useful when you've got several background sessions doing work and need to orchestrate them without babysitting each terminal.
