Pondlog Ebird

Wraps the eBird API v2 with 21 tools covering observations, hotspots, checklists, and taxonomy queries. Part of the larger Pondlog project that stitches together nature data APIs into a single layer for both CLI and MCP use. You can ask Claude what species have been spotted near specific coordinates, pull recent checklists from a region, or query taxonomic data without managing API keys yourself (eBird requires one, but the server handles rate limiting and retry logic). Good fit if you're building anything around birding data or location aware wildlife tracking. The underlying source client does Zod validation and returns typed results, so the MCP layer is mostly plumbing.
