Paseo

A reference doc for the Paseo daemon, which supervises AI coding agents on your local machine. You'll load this when you need to spin up agents in worktrees, send them prompts, or schedule recurring tasks. The orchestration preferences file is the clever bit: it lets you map provider choices by role (implementation vs UI vs research) so other skills can defer to your setup instead of hardcoding Claude or Codex everywhere. The async-first philosophy is baked in with background mode and notify-on-finish flags, which makes sense given agents routinely take 10 to 30 minutes. One gotcha: the daemon owns all state, so restarting it kills every running agent.
