Brainstorming

This captures story brainstorming sessions while preserving creative freedom through minimal notes. The core discipline is recording what the author actually said without filling in gaps they deliberately left open. It uses three tags: AI for suggestions you offer, hidden for planned reveals the author doesn't want visible yet, and rejected for discarded ideas worth remembering. The format adapts to whatever the conversation needs, whether that's chapter beats, character arcs, or worldbuilding systems. What makes it work is the calibration test: the author should read the notes and say "yes, that's what I said" without feeling like you made decisions for them or lost the vagueness they wanted to keep.
