Prose Critique

This is an adversarial reading methodology for fiction drafts. It's designed to find what doesn't work rather than confirm what does. You specify a focus area like structure, character, voice, prose, or continuity, and it goes deep using dedicated resources for each dimension. The approach is stage aware: early drafts get structural critique, late drafts get line-level attention. It includes a Python script for mechanical analysis of sentence variety and repetition patterns. The philosophy is clear: a critique that just says "well done" creates false confidence and wastes time. Use this when you need someone to poke real holes in narrative fiction, not pat you on the back.
