A CLI that lets Claude directly manipulate Office files without needing Office installed. It's genuinely AI-friendly with a three-layer API (read, DOM edit, raw XML) and a help system that shows exact property names and syntax instead of making you guess. The resident mode is smart for multi-step workflows since it keeps files in memory between commands. Supports all the basics like adding slides, formatting paragraphs, setting cell values, plus a batch mode for atomic operations. The view modes are handy too, especially the issues detector for catching formatting problems. One caveat: it uses numeric indexing for elements, so you can't reference things by name directly. Best when you need programmatic Office document creation or bulk modifications where the Office GUI would be tedious.
