Handles Jira operations through natural language, automatically detecting whether you have the jira CLI or Atlassian MCP configured and adapting accordingly. Creates, views, and updates tickets, manages sprint workflows, and catches issue keys like PROJ-123 in conversation. The implementation is thoughtfully defensive: it won't transition tickets without checking current state first, forces you to review descriptions before overwriting them, and reminds you that MCP assignment only works with account IDs, not display names. The dual backend approach is smart since teams use different Jira tooling, though you'll need to set up at least one before it does anything useful.
