Summary

This is a meta-skill that helps Claude find and recommend other skills before you start a task, then collects feedback on what actually proved useful afterward. You run it twice per session: once up front with a rewritten query (the docs suggest expanding "make a video" into planning, scripting, tooling, editing steps), and once at the end to report back. It talks to an API, downloads recommended skills into a local directory, and can take up to five minutes on the first call. You'll need SKILLS_VOTE_API_KEY set and uv installed. The feedback loop is interesting in principle, though whether you'll remember to close it after solving your problem is another question. Best suited for complex tasks where discovering the right tooling matters more than starting immediately.

mertbuilds/skills

Build a feature in an isolated worktrunk worktree, commit, and open a draft PR. Use whenever the user asks to implement, build, add, or fix something that touches code — e.g. '/implement', 'implement X', 'build X', 'add X', 'fix X', 'let's build it', 'ship it', 'drop this in', 'go code it up'. Skip for questions, explanations, research, and trivial one-line docs/config edits. Skip if already inside a worktrunk worktree (just implement directly).
