Handles safe updates for GitHub SpecKit installations by comparing file hashes to detect your customizations and preserving them during template updates. When you run it, you get a summary of what will change, conflicts get resolved one at a time through VSCode's merge editor, and it automatically backs up before touching anything with rollback on failure. The conversational approval workflow is well thought out: it presents changes, waits for your ok, then applies them without exposing implementation flags to you. Worth noting it requires a clean Git state and internet access to hit GitHub's API. If you're using SpecKit and want to pull template updates without clobbering your custom commands and tweaks, this does exactly that job.
