Summary
Pulls ESG ratings and sustainability scores for public companies through the Octagon MCP server. You get MSCI ratings (AAA to CCC), Sustainalytics risk scores, and breakdowns across environmental, social, and governance dimensions, plus industry rankings. Pass in a ticker and it returns the full scorecard. Useful if you're screening investments against ESG criteria or need to justify portfolio decisions with actual ratings data. The main thing to know is that scores vary wildly by industry, so a 65 for a mining company means something different than a 65 for a software company. Compare within sectors, not across them, or you'll draw bad conclusions.
