Pulls academic papers from Google Scholar through the Serper API with year filtering and citation counts. You get titles, authors, snippets, and direct links formatted in markdown. Useful when you need to ground an argument in actual research or track down seminal papers on a topic. The results include citation counts, which helps you quickly spot influential work versus newer publications. Counts against the 8-call-per-task limit, so make your queries specific. Works best with domain terminology rather than casual language, and you can narrow by publication year if you're researching something that moves fast.
