It catches the usual suspects like inflated symbolism, em dash abuse, and words like "delve" and "landscape," but what's interesting is the emphasis on adding actual personality back in. The guide explicitly pushes you to vary sentence rhythm, have opinions, and acknowledge uncertainty instead of just producing sterile, technically clean prose.
