Asc Localize Metadata

If you're shipping an iOS app to multiple markets, this skill automates the tedious work of translating App Store metadata across 40+ locales. It pulls your English descriptions, keywords, and release notes from App Store Connect via the asc CLI, sends them through an LLM with locale-specific translation rules (formal tone, culturally adapted keywords, strict character limits), then pushes everything back. The translation prompts are thoughtful: they remind Claude not to literally translate keywords but to research what users actually search for in each market, and to use formal registers where appropriate (German Sie, French vous, etc.). Handles both per-version fields like descriptions and app-level fields like subtitles. Saves hours of copy-paste and helps you avoid the rookie mistakes that make localized listings feel machine-generated.
