Extends images beyond their original canvas using RunComfy's edit endpoints. Routes across Nano Banana 2 Edit for spatial language ("add 30% to the left"), GPT Image 2 Edit when you need reference matching, or FLUX Kontext Pro for maximum preservation. The most common use is aspect ratio swaps: square to 16:9 for banners, portrait to 9:16 for social, uncropping product shots or historical photos. Nano Banana 2 works well if you prompt the canvas change first, describe what extends, then explicitly preserve the original content. If you hit visible seams or lighting mismatches at the boundary, you'll need to step up to a ComfyUI workflow with proper seam handling. Not for filling holes inside the frame, that's inpainting.
