This is a framework for making architectural decisions with discipline. It guides you through requirements analysis, trade-off evaluation, and writing ADRs to document why you chose what you chose. The core philosophy is refreshingly anti-pattern: start simple, add complexity only when necessary, and validate that your team can actually handle what you're proposing. Includes decision trees, pattern selection guides, and examples across MVP, SaaS, and enterprise contexts. The selective reading guide is practical since you probably don't need all of it at once. Best used when you're facing a real architectural fork in the road, not just building another CRUD app.
