If you're working with the Agent Skills spec, this handles the tedious validation work. It checks frontmatter fields, enforces naming conventions and length constraints, and converts legacy formats to the current standard. The real win is the batch validation mode for checking entire skill directories at once, plus it scaffolds evals.json files with assertion patterns for testing. Built by the same team behind the skills-template repo, so it's essentially the reference implementation. Useful when you're publishing skills and want to catch spec violations before they become problems, or when migrating older skills to match current conventions.
