This is a comprehensive web search toolkit built for agentic workflows, not one-shot queries. It ships with a working no-key baseline using DuckDuckGo and falls back gracefully, then scales up with optional providers like Tavily, Exa, Brave, and eight others. The federated search mode is the real differentiator: it tells you which providers actually contributed, how many results were recovered by fanout versus the primary route, and what got corroborated across sources. You also get structured research packs, news search with routing explanations, docs discovery, site crawling, and extract with optional browser rendering. The JSON output exposes routing decisions and cache telemetry, so upstream models can reason about evidence quality instead of just consuming raw results.
