Packagist

Connects Claude to Packagist, the main Composer package registry for PHP. Exposes four tools: search packages by text with optional type and tag filters, fetch complete package metadata across all versions, list version histories with release dates, and pull download statistics plus dependent counts. Useful when you're evaluating PHP libraries, need to check version compatibility, or want download metrics before adding a dependency. Part of the Pipeworx gateway, which means you can either use it standalone or access it alongside 673+ other data sources through a single connection that accepts plain English queries.
