This is a template for building project-specific guidelines that Claude can reference when working on your codebase. It's modeled after a real production app called Zenith and includes the kind of context that actually matters: file structure conventions, API response patterns, how you integrate Claude's structured outputs, testing requirements with pytest and Playwright, and deployment checklists for Cloud Run. The example covers a Next.js 15 frontend talking to a FastAPI backend, but the real value is using it as a skeleton for documenting your own stack's architecture decisions, code patterns, and deployment workflow. It's the difference between Claude guessing at your conventions and actually following them.
