Sox Testing

Generates sample selections, testing workpapers, and control assessment templates for SOX 404 compliance. You'd use this when planning quarterly or annual testing cycles, pulling samples for specific control areas like revenue recognition, procure to pay, ITGCs, or financial close. It calculates sample sizes based on control frequency and risk, generates random or systematic selections from your population, and creates pre-formatted workpaper templates with test procedures, evidence requirements, and exception tracking tables. The templates cover all the standard assertions (completeness, existence, accuracy, valuation) and help you classify deficiencies from isolated exceptions up to material weaknesses. Saves a lot of time on the mechanical parts of SOX testing, though obviously you still need someone who knows what they're doing to review the actual audit work.
