Breaks an Epic down into 5-10 vertical-slice Stories through an eight-phase runtime that assembles context, runs focused standards research, builds an ideal plan before looking at what exists, then routes and delegates creation or replanning work to standalone workers. The research phase is deliberately constrained to improve Technical Notes and implementation realism without expanding scope, and it can pull from researchgraph layouts when available. Phase 7 includes a template compliance gate that fetches every created Story and validates the nine-section format before allowing finalization. The coordinator pauses on routing ambiguity or preview confirmation unless you pass autoApprove, and it enforces that workers remain standalone even when invoked through the managed runtime. Most useful when you need structured Story decomposition with research grounding and don't want to inline all the planning logic yourself.
