Working Backwards

This walks you through Amazon's working backwards methodology when you're defining a new product or feature. It'll push you to write a mock press release and FAQ before you build anything, which sounds bureaucratic but actually forces you to articulate customer value and kill bad ideas early. The skill pulls from 12 product leaders and emphasizes starting with the customer problem, not your solution. Most useful when you're tempted to build something because it's technically interesting rather than because someone actually needs it. The three evaluation criteria (is it big enough, should we do it, can we actually pull it off) are worth the price of admission alone.
