If you've ever opened a multi-file CAD project and couldn't figure out where a part gets positioned or why changing one dimension breaks three others, this enforces the discipline to prevent that. Parts build at origin, assemblies position them via connectors, and data flows strictly downward through props. No sibling imports, no coordinate math in assemblies, no mystery offsets. The pattern feels like React components but for mechanical assemblies. Use it when reviewing any ForgeCAD project with more than one file, or when you're about to create a shared-dims.js file and need someone to stop you. It's opinionated, but that's the point.
