Writes a high-level design document before you build CAD models or write detailed specs. You get a structured markdown file that defines the problem, explores alternatives in a table, and lists concerns with enough specificity that a reviewer can actually say yes or no. The whole thing works through git commits, not chat, so feedback comes back as diffs and inline edits. It never assumes FDM printing unless you said so, treats manufacturing process as a design choice, and includes a usage guide where you work backwards from assembly steps to catch gaps early. Ships the document as hld.md, you review and fill the Decisions table, then move to detailed design or straight to code.
