When cmux hooks stop firing, sessions don't restore, or notifications vanish into the void, this skill runs the diagnostics script and walks you through socket health, settings validation, hook installation state, and session store evidence. It defaults to read-only checks and won't dump your prompt logs or tokens into the transcript. The bundled script lives in three possible locations depending on whether you installed via checkout, agents, or Codex skills.sh. Most useful when a user reports "cmux used to work and now it doesn't" and you need a structured way to check the usual suspects without asking them to paste their entire dotfile setup.
