You get frameworks for removing friction between signup and the aha moment, questions to identify where users are dropping off, and warnings about common traps like carousel tutorials and explanation screens. The core idea is sound, optimize ruthlessly for time to value, but honestly most of this comes down to watching real users struggle through your flow and cutting everything between them and actually using the product. Works best when you have activation rate problems or are designing first-run experiences from scratch.
